i am liiiiiiivid!

well, not so much at passport canada, as i am with walmart. let’s back up a minute..

so i’m going to new york. (yay!) i got my passport photos taken at the dufferin walmart, since it was cheap. my internal monologue was like “fantastic! i’ll get it done here for cheap, send it away and get my passport!” easy-peasy. right? wrong.

APPARENTLY the photo taken had “a glare or shadow on the face” and was “unacceptable to passport canada’s standards”. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK. this is just AWESOME (note the sarcasm.)

so today, when i picked up the package that i thought was my passport from canada post, which turned out to be my passport application + birth certificate and photos, it goes without saying that i was PIIIIIIIIISSED. i got my photo’s redone, and filled out a brand new application form, and now i just get it all signed by my dear roommate ashley who is also my guarantor, and go to the passport office on monday morning to make sure i get my passport by the time i leave for NYC! 

but don’t think walmart won’t hear about this. i fully intend on going there tomorrow and getting my money back from my photos that cost me about 3 weeks of wait time, and stress like CRAZY today. i will not leave until i get my money back.

HEY WALMART: IF YOU’RE SELLING PASSPORT PHOTOS, DOUBLE CHECK THEM BEFORE YOU SELL THEM SO YOU DON’T FUCK PEOPLE OVER! K THANKS. 
PS. I HATE YOU RIGHT NOW!

i think the best part about this day was the fact that blockbuster is going out of business and i was able to buy some movies for cheap! lady streisand will keep me sane tonight while i indulge in some popcorn and watch ‘funny girl’ …..

…..but i still hate walmart.
